OpenAI Unveils the Stargate Project
The Stargate Project will invest $500 billion over four years to build AI infrastructure for OpenAI in the U.S. It aims to secure U.S. AI leadership, create jobs, and boost the economy. Funded by SoftBank, OpenAI, Oracle, and MGX, with Masayoshi Son as chairman, the project involves key partners like NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Oracle. Construction has started in Texas, with more sites planned. Stargate will enhance AI and AGI development for global benefit.
Tool of the month
Hunyuan3D-2.0 is the latest version of a framework developed by Tencent for generating 3D models based on text or images. The previous version, Hunyuan3D-1.0, introduced a two-stage approach: first, images from various perspectives were generated using a diffusion model, and then these were used to reconstruct a 3D model.
The 2.0 version, released on January 21, 2025, brings improvements in speed and quality of the generated models. The source code and pre-trained models are available on the project’s GitHub repository.
Hunyuan3D-2.0 supports both text-to-3D and image-to-3D generation, enabling efficient creation of high-quality 3D assets. What is most interesting is that the numerical results indicate that Hunyuan3D 2.0 surpasses all baselines in the quality of generated textured 3D assets and the condition following ability.

The project scope included a discovery phase, interface design, and development, culminating in the creation of a product tailored to meet the needs of two user groups: teachers and students.
We designed an intuitive self-assessment system for students, enabling them to track their tasks and mood, while providing teachers with a clear overview of student progress through integrated evaluations.
Completed in just 4 months, the project culminated in a successful production release. Post-launch surveys revealed that 80% of teachers and students found the product highly intuitive and effective, highlighting the success of our comprehensive approach.
